JOE ITAH, (Chapter Chairman) NIPR-ABUJA

Dear NIPR Abuja Chapter Chair,

Thank you most sincerely for offering some of us membership of your chapter. I have read the terms and I hope to contact you soon to facilitate my registration as I deeply associate myself with the matured and honest views of most analysts and NIPR members.

Tunde Martins

Dear All,

I wish to commend the initiators of the interactive forum and the contributions made so far by our colleagues on burning PR issues. It is my sincere hope that our colleagues and those aspiring to become members will learn a few things from the debates. On the issue of membership raised by my friend Orji O. Orji, I think the Q&A put together by our Chapter Chairman, Mr Joe Itah is adequate enough for those who aspire to be members. However, the implementation of the guidelines for practitioners gives cause for worry. There exist today, organisations which flout the guidelines and would rather prefer to hire non professionals to man their PR departments. What has been the reaction of the Institute to this anomaly? The NIPR executives at the National and State levels need to rise up to the challenge.

Osaretin Imahiyereobo,

a PhD student in Communication Art

Am a student of Accounting in the Lagos State University, Ojo and would like to be a member of the NIPR cos Public relations is in my blood. Although, i am supposed to be a graduate but was denied graduating because of a course but by the second semester, it will be clarified and i would be allowed to go for my NYSC.
Rather than being idle, i feel the best opportunity is to write the NIPR exams and have additional qualifications to the Accounting certificate. Am i entitled to sit for the NIPR exams or can i become a member because i love the profession....i have the passion for it....pls i need a quick time response...ADELOWO AHMED ADEPITAN, 08036968985,ahmedadelowo2002@yahoo.com,Ojokoro, Lagos State.
